Haha, the secret tunnels? Doubtful. Most of those stories are pure fabrication, designed to add a bit of… character to the place. Think Hogwarts, but with less magic and more intense exam pressure. As for lunch, your best bet near Saint Too Canaan College is probably the little noodle place down the street – it's always packed with students, so you know it's gotta be good and cheap. Otherwise, there's a decent little cafe across the road in the small shopping center, slightly pricier but offers more variety. Avoid the canteen unless you like the food at most schools. Trust me on that one.

Check out the dai pai dongs near the MTR station. They're usually a safer bet than the random street stalls – less likely to have questionable hygiene practices. Look for ones that are busy; that's usually a good sign. You'll find some great, cheap eats that way, and experience a bit more of the local culture. Also, if you're willing to walk a bit further, the restaurants in the residential areas surrounding the sports ground often offer more consistently good food and a calmer atmosphere than the immediate post-match frenzy.
