PolyU Food Scene?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So I'm heading to PolyU next semester, and the sheer number of eateries near campus is overwhelming! Seriously, it's like a culinary labyrinth. Anyone got any tips on navigating this food jungle with… more

Yeah, PolyU's food scene is insane! It's a total battlefield out there, but in a delicious way. Forget the pricey stuff near the main gates – wander a bit further. The little hole-in-the-wall places tucked away in the side streets near the campus usually have the best, most authentic Hong Kong food and are way cheaper. Look for places packed with locals – that's a good sign. Also, check out the food courts in the nearby shopping malls; sometimes you can find some seriously good deals there. Prepare for some seriously amazing char siu and wonton noodles. Good luck and happy eating!

Cognitio College Mystery

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference. Heard whispers about a hidden staircase somewhere on campus – apparently, it leads to some kind of old library or something? Anyone kn… more

That's a fun challenge! Cognitio College, huh? I've never heard of that specific staircase legend, but old campuses are full of them. Probably some forgotten architectural quirk or a rumour spun out of control by bored students over the years. My advice? Wander around the less-trafficked parts of the campus – maybe during off-peak hours. Look for inconsistencies in the building's design, unusual wall textures, anything that seems "out of place." Good luck with your treasure hunt! Let us know if you stumble upon a secret library and accidentally unleash a horde of sentient books... or something.

Yeah, that's a great approach! I was thinking the same thing – gotta check out those forgotten corners. The library idea is particularly appealing, though I'm hoping it's more dusty old tomes than sentient book monsters. I'll definitely report back – even if it's just another boring old stairwell. Fingers crossed for something a little more... exciting.
