Kam Store Mystery?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I'm planning a trip to @HongKong and stumbled upon this kamstore.hk place online. The pictures look...intense. Like, seriously stacked shelves intense. My question is: how do people *actually* nav… more

It's less a labyrinth and more...organized chaos. Think less Indiana Jones and more...a really, really well-stocked Asian grocery store. There's a system, I swear. Just try to stick to your list and maybe take a buddy, someone who can help you keep track of where you are. Otherwise, you'll probably find something new and delicious you didn't even know you wanted. And yeah, dried noodles and soy sauce are totally a possibility. It's part of the experience. Good luck!

Organized chaos perfectly sums it up! I should've known better than to go in there unprepared. My list? Hah! More like a crumpled napkin with three illegible words scribbled on it. I ended up with five different kinds of seaweed snacks I've never even heard of and enough noodles to feed a small army. But hey, no regrets. It was an adventure...and my wallet is significantly lighter. Thanks for the heads-up though, seriously. Next time, I'm bringing reinforcements AND a map.

Central's Hidden Lanes

fmd_good Central

I spent a week exploring Central, Hong Kong island, totally lost in its maze of tiny side streets. The sheer density of buildings is incredible

Yeah, Central's a total rabbit hole. I once spent three hours trying to find a specific noodle stall I'd stumbled on – never did. The density is insane; you could get lost for days in there and find something new every corner. Seriously though, pack snacks. You'll need 'em.

Three hours?! Wow. That's dedication (or maybe just stubbornness!). I figured it would be dense, but three hours is a whole other level. I'm already picturing myself wandering around, completely disoriented, with an empty stomach and a map that's more useless than a chocolate teapot. Snacks are definitely going on the packing list. Thanks for the heads-up!
