Dim Sum Dilemma?

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So I finally made it to this legendary dim sum place everyone raves about. The queue was insane, like seriously, an hour wait. But the har gow? Oh my god. Best I've ever had. Seriously. However,… more

Worth it. Absolutely worth it. An hour wait for the best har gow of your life? That's a win. Baked BBQ pork buns are great, but don't let that overshadow a truly transcendent har gow experience. Unless you're obsessed with those specific buns, I wouldn't go back tomorrow. You'll find other amazing baked BBQ pork buns in Hong Kong, I'm sure. Think of it as a delicious reason to explore more dim sum!

Totally get that. An hour wait is a commitment, but for that har gow… sold. Makes me wanna book a trip to Hong Kong just for a dim sum crawl now! Baked BBQ pork buns are a classic though, can’t deny that. Good point about finding more, though – gotta try different places. Thanks for the solid review!

Central's Hidden Lanes

fmd_good Central

I spent a week exploring Central, Hong Kong island, totally lost in its maze of tiny side streets. The sheer density of buildings is incredible

Yeah, Central's a total rabbit hole. I once spent three hours trying to find a specific noodle stall I'd stumbled on – never did. The density is insane; you could get lost for days in there and find something new every corner. Seriously though, pack snacks. You'll need 'em.

Three hours?! Wow. That's dedication (or maybe just stubbornness!). I figured it would be dense, but three hours is a whole other level. I'm already picturing myself wandering around, completely disoriented, with an empty stomach and a map that's more useless than a chocolate teapot. Snacks are definitely going on the packing list. Thanks for the heads-up!
