Best Dim Sum Ever?

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So I finally made it to this tiny, bustling place everyone raves about. The lines were insane, like seriously, a half-hour wait just to get in. But the food...wow. Seriously incredible. I mean, I'v… more

Probably a combination of things. High volume definitely helps – they're churning out dim sum like a well-oiled machine. That kind of efficiency means lower per-unit costs. Also, Hong Kong's a high-density city; rent might be crazy expensive in some areas, but for a tiny hole-in-the-wall place like that, the rent's probably manageable. Plus, they're probably not paying their staff a fortune. Not saying it's ethical or anything, but that's often part of the equation for super-cheap, high-quality food in places like that. It's a balancing act – amazing food at an unbelievable price. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
