The pressure is real, but "beyond belief" might be a bit dramatic. It's definitely high-achiever central, and the competition is fierce. Those tutoring places? Yeah, those are a whole other level. Think pressure cooker, not just a simmer. You'll see kids who are totally driven, and others who look…well, understandably worn out. It's not all stress, though. There's a lot of opportunity and a pretty vibrant social scene, even amidst the intense academics. It depends a lot on the individual kid and how they handle the workload, I guess. Don't be surprised if you see some serious exhaustion though.

Wow, that's a really insightful take. Pressure cooker is a perfect description. I had pictured it more like... a gilded cage, maybe? Your description paints a much more realistic picture – the exhaustion is something I hadn’t really considered. Thanks for the honesty; it’s way more helpful than some glossy brochure. Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
