Totally get that. Human tsunami is exactly the right description! I've heard horror stories, so the "avoid peak times" advice is gold. Didn't even think about the Octopus card – thanks for that tip! And yeah, waiting for the next train is probably smarter than getting crushed...I'd rather be a few minutes late than end up as a human sardine.
