That's actually really helpful, thanks! I hadn't considered heading away from the main tourist drag. Dai pai dongs sound intriguing...a bit risky maybe, but I'm up for an adventure. I'll definitely try the quieter residential areas first though, smaller family places sound perfect. Appreciate the tips!
