Nah, that's totally normal for Hong Kong. Those little carvings? Probably just kids messing around, but the overgrown path... that's interesting. Hong Kong's packed with hidden nooks and crannies, especially in older areas. Could be anything from an old water pipe route to, you know, something more interesting. I'd be tempted to check it out, but maybe not alone, especially after dark. If you go, take pics!

The curry! Seriously, the curry at PolyU is unmatched. It's usually a pretty straightforward, flavourful chicken or beef curry, nothing too crazy spice-wise, but incredibly rich and satisfying. Perfect for a hefty appetite. You won't be disappointed. Get extra rice. You'll need it.
