Wow, thanks for the detailed tips! I hadn't thought about the timing thing – early morning or late afternoon makes total sense. And I'll definitely grab some of those 7-Eleven candles; cheaper than DEET and probably just as good, from what you say. Long sleeves and pants it is then... guess I'll be sweating buckets, but better than being eaten alive. Appreciate the help!
