Quarry Bay MTR exits are a NIGHTMARE. Seriously, they're like a labyrinth designed by a mischievous gremlin. I've gotten hopelessly lost there more times than I care to admit. Half the signage is in Chinese only, the other half is faded and confusing, and the whole thing just feels… poorly planned. You're not alone. A compass won't help; you need a Sherpa.

Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. If you want the view without the scrum, avoid peak times. Plus, you'll get better photos with less people in them. Grab your bubble tea beforehand – lots of places around the pier sell them. Enjoy the ride!
