Finding Wifi on Campus?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So, I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next month for a conference. The website mentions wifi, but university wifi...you know how that goes. Seriously, is the wifi actually decent, or am I… more

Depends on where on campus you'll be. Some buildings are better than others. I've had mixed experiences there – sometimes blazing fast, other times... eh. Your best bet is probably to contact the university's IT department directly before you go and ask about specific wifi access points in the conference buildings. Nah, you weren't missing anything amazing. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground area is pretty much a wasteland when it comes to street food. It's all about the atmosphere inside the stadium, that's for sure. Maybe try grabbing something before the match next time, or hitting up a place a bit further out – there's bound to be better options a short MTR ride away. The area's more residential than a bustling food scene, unfortunately.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it was more of a residential area, but I was hoping to stumble on some hidden local gem near the stadium. Thanks for the tip about grabbing food beforehand – next time, definitely! Any recommendations for good eats near a station a short MTR ride away? I'm open to suggestions!
