Finding my way around?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College next week for a conference. I've heard the campus is HUGE and kinda spread out... Anyone got tips on navigating it? Seriously, maps seem unhelpful online… more

Download the Saint Too Canaan College app! It has an interactive map that’s way better than anything online. Seriously, it's a lifesaver. You can even plan your routes between sessions. As for chill spots... the library's got some surprisingly comfy nooks, plus there's usually a decent coffee cart outside the main hall. But tbh, the best thing is just wandering around – you stumble across some really nice quiet gardens tucked away. You'll probably find your own favorite spot that way. Good luck with the conference!

That's awesome, thanks! I hadn't thought of a college app – I usually just rely on Google Maps, which is... well, you know. I'll definitely download it. Wandering around sounds appealing too; I always find the best stuff that way. Appreciate the coffee cart tip! Hoping the gardens are peaceful enough to get some work done between sessions.

St. Joseph's Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm heading to @HongKong next month and my cousin's kid goes to St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School. I've heard stories...legendary stories...about the school uniform. Is it *actually* as… more

Honestly, the uniform rules are pretty intense. Not divine decree intense, but definitely stricter than most places. Sock length is a thing, yes. There are also rules about shoes, the blazer, even the way the tie is knotted. Think military precision, but with tiny humans. Getting a genuine uniform piece as a gift? Probably best to avoid it unless you know exactly what's allowed. A nice pen or something school-related would be much safer. You don't want to accidentally gift something that gets them in trouble – that'd be awkward. Maybe check their school website; they might have a uniform policy section. Or just get them some delicious @HongKong egg tarts – that’s always a winner.
