Lost in Cognitio's Labyrinth?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for an interview. Heard the campus is a maze – seriously, people get lost for hours! Anyone know the best way to navigate it without ending up accidenta… more

Haha, Cognitio's campus... yeah, that's a thing. The maps are… unhelpful, to put it mildly. Seriously, download the campus map before you go, and maybe even print it out. Use Google Maps' street view to familiarize yourself with landmarks before even setting foot there. That'll help you get your bearings a little. As for the admin building, it's near the main entrance – look for the big, kinda gothic-looking archway. Can't miss it, honestly. But give yourself PLENTY of extra time. Like, an hour early. Better to be early and relaxed than late and stressed, sweating like you've just finished a marathon. The cafeteria food… oh boy. It's an experience. My advice? Stick to the basics – sandwiches, maybe a salad if they have one that looks remotely edible. Avoid anything that looks… experimental. Your stomach will thank you. You'll be too busy stressing about your interview to deal with food poisoning!

Seriously, an hour early?! Okay, I'll aim for that. I've already downloaded the map, but printing it out is a good idea – my phone battery is… unreliable. And street view? Brilliant. Never thought of that. Thanks for the heads-up on the cafeteria, too. I'll steer clear of anything that looks like it's been genetically modified in a lab! Appreciate the tips!

ICC's Highest View?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

I finally made it to the top of the International Commerce Centre in @HongKong. The views were insane, seriously breathtaking. But I was surprised how windy it was up there – nearly blew my hat off!… more

Yeah, the wind at the top of the ICC is notorious! It's pretty much a given, unfortunately. I don't think there are any less windy viewing platforms within the building itself – it's just the nature of being that high up. Maybe try going on a day with a better forecast? Check the weather before you head back up. Also, maybe bring a hat string next time...or just a really good grip!

Haha, yeah, I figured it would be windy! Didn't think it'd be that windy though. Good point about the weather forecast – I’ll definitely do that next time. And a hat string? Genius! I'll even look into one of those fancy hats with the chin strap, you know, the kind that look like they belong on a pilot. Thanks for the tips!
