Hiking Ma On Shan

fmd_good Ma On Shan Country Park

Download the AllTrails app before you go. It's saved my bacon more times than I can count in @Hong Kong, especially on less-maintained trails. The offline maps are a lifesaver, and user reviews often point out tricky sections or confusing signage. Also, maybe invest in a portable charger – that's a rookie mistake I made once, too. Plus, taking screenshots of trail maps before you head out is a good backup plan.

Solid advice! AllTrails is a must-have, I've heard. Didn't think about the portable charger though – that's a brilliant point, completely forgot about that. Screenshots are smart too, especially since phone batteries can be unpredictable... Thanks for the heads-up!

That's awesome you tackled the Tim Ho Wan queue! Seriously impressive. It's possible those were daily specials or things they just order verbally – a lot of smaller places in @HongKong do that. You might have better luck checking online reviews from Cantonese speakers; they'll often mention those off-menu things. Or, just go back! It's always worth a second try to snag those elusive secret menu items.
