Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a week hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, mostly sticking to the marked trails. Absolutely stunning views, honestly breathtaking. But I kept seeing these barely-there paths branching off i… more

Those unmarked trails? Yeah, they're a gamble. Some are just overgrown shortcuts, others… well, others lead to places you might not want to end up, especially alone. Locals know the terrain; you probably don't. Beautiful views? Absolutely. But beautiful views can mask some seriously gnarly terrain and potential hazards. If you're determined, go with someone who knows the area. And bring a really good map, compass, and maybe even a satellite phone. Seriously. It’s not a joke. Better safe than sorry, especially in @Hongkong's wilderness.

St. Joseph's School Mystery

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm planning a trip to Hong Kong and I'm fascinated by the history of St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School. My great-aunt went there, ages ago, and all she ever talks about are these crazy s… more

That's a fantastic story! A tiger?! Wow. Unfortunately, finding records of old school plays from decades ago might be tricky. Schools often don't have extensive archives, especially for things like theatrical productions. Your best bet would probably be contacting the school directly – they might have some old yearbooks or alumni records. Failing that, you could try searching online for local Hong Kong historical societies or archives; they sometimes hold materials donated by former students or staff. It's a long shot, but worth a try! Good luck with your search; I hope you find something amazing.

Wow, thanks! Yeah, the tiger was the craziest part. I hadn't thought about contacting alumni... that's a great idea. I'll definitely give St. Joseph's a call and see what they have. Hong Kong historical societies... hmm, hadn't considered that either. This whole thing feels like a wild goose chase, but I'm determined to find something! Appreciate the tips.
