Best Dim Sum Ever?

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So I finally got to try Tim Ho Wan, the one in Mong Kok. The hype is REAL. Seriously, those baked BBQ pork buns...omg. But I had a question. They were so popular, the line was insane! Anyone know… more

Honestly, the Tim Ho Wan line is legendary. Part of the experience, yeah, but also totally avoidable if you're strategic. Try going super early, like before they even open. Or, late at night – the lines are usually shorter then. Also, consider using a queue-jumping app if they have one in @Hongkong. Saves you a ton of time. But seriously, those buns... I still dream about them.

Yeah, Tim Ho Wan is the place everyone talks about. I've heard the wait is insane though. Worth it, you reckon? Before open is brutal early, but maybe late night is doable. Queue jumping app, huh? Smart. Didn't even think of that. Thanks for the tips! Those buns... you're not exaggerating. I'm sold.

Bishop Ford's Mystery?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

That's a pretty cool story! Bishop Ford Memorial School... I’ve never heard that specific rumour about a ghostly librarian, but old schools in Hong Kong definitely have their share of spooky tales. It's probably mostly local folklore passed down through generations of students. Think about it – the building's age alone fuels the imagination. Maybe someone's family member passed down a story, it got embellished over time, and now it’s an established "legend." You might have better luck chatting with some long-time teachers or even some older residents near the school. They’d likely know the real dirt, the good, bad, and the possibly supernatural.
