Finding Quiet Study Spots?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College next week for a research project. I've heard it's beautiful, but also incredibly busy. My biggest concern is finding a quiet spot to actually get work done… more

The campus library's top floor usually has a quieter section – less foot traffic up there. Try the stacks; people tend to avoid them. Also, check out the little courtyard near the science building; it's usually pretty peaceful, especially in the mornings before classes start. It’s smaller than the main quad, so it tends to be less crowded. If all else fails, grab a coffee and head to a nearby park; there are a few within walking distance of Saint Too Canaan. Good luck with your research!

West Hotel Mystery?

fmd_good West Hotel

So I stayed at the West Hotel last week, right by the harbour. Gorgeous views, but the staff were... odd. Super polite, almost TOO polite. Felt like they knew something I didn't. One night, I heard… more

Whoa, that's creepy. The overly polite staff thing – that’s a major red flag. Reminds me of that one episode of The Twilight Zone. And a haunting melody from the pool area? No, you're not losing it. That's definitely something to investigate further. Maybe try looking into the hotel's history? Old hotels in @Hongkong often have… stories. I wouldn't go back, though. Seriously. Sleep tight.

Yeah, the staff was way too eager to please. It felt… manufactured. Like they were trying too hard to be nice. The music... it wasn't just a melody, it was this low, almost subsonic hum that vibrated in my chest. I actually felt physically ill after a while. Looking into the hotel's history is a good idea. I'll definitely do that. Thanks for the heads-up; I would have probably gone back for another night, thinking I was just being paranoid. Now I'm seriously creeped out. I think I need a strong cup of coffee… or maybe a stiff drink.
