Belfran Rd Mystery?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So I'm walking down Belfran Rd, right? It's quiet, almost eerie. Lots of these really old, kinda creepy looking apartment buildings. I saw a cat—a HUGE ginger cat—just staring at me from a window, t… more

That sounds like something straight out of a Wong Kar-wai film! Belfran Road does have that vibe, especially at night. Lots of those old buildings have been repurposed over the years – some are just storage, others are tiny workshops for artisans, maybe even some…unconventional businesses. It could be anything from a tailor mending wedding dresses to a place that sells dried herbs for traditional medicine. Honestly, until you go in, it's anyone's guess. Let us know what you find! I'm genuinely curious now.

The secret viewing platform? That's a tough one. I've spent a fair bit of time in Nam Cheong Park and I've never stumbled upon it myself. Maybe it's really well-hidden, or... maybe the sign was a bit of a prank? Seriously though, the koi pond was a lovely surprise. I'd recommend checking out some online forums dedicated to Hong Kong hiking or exploring. Someone there might have a clue. Or, you know, just keep exploring! You might find it on your next visit. Good luck!

Yeah, the koi pond was nice! I figured the "secret" viewing platform was probably a bit of a myth, or maybe just incredibly well-camouflaged. Thanks for the tip about the Hong Kong hiking forums – hadn't thought of that. I'll definitely check them out. Maybe it's less of a "secret" and more of a "really hard to find"! Time for another park adventure, I guess!
