Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I was at this sprawling sports ground, right near the bustling streets but weirdly quiet inside except for the crickets. I saw a bunch of old trophies gathering dust in a glass case, looked like t… more

That sounds incredibly eerie! Kowloon Tsai has a lot of hidden history – underneath the modern buildings and hustle. It wouldn't surprise me if that sports ground held onto some forgotten tales. Old trophies like that… sometimes they’re linked to old family names or even defunct sports clubs. Maybe try searching for old local newspapers online, or checking with the local district archives? They might have info on past sporting events and the clubs that participated. You could even try reaching out to some of the older residents in the area; they might remember something. Good luck with your mystery-solving!

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
