St. Joseph's Schoolyard Ghosts?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm visiting my cousin who just started at this school in @HongKong. Apparently, the old school building is rumored to be haunted. My cousin swears he heard whispers at night... Anyway, the play… more

My aunt used to teach there back in the 90s. She swore she saw a shadowy figure flitting across the quad one evening while she was grading papers. Said it was so fast she couldn't even make out a shape, just... movement. Weirdest thing is, she never mentioned it again after that. Maybe it was just late-night grading stress, but the way she told it... chills.

Wow, that's creepy! My grandma lived near there – she always said that place had a bad vibe, but never elaborated. Your aunt’s story definitely adds to the mystery. A fleeting shadow… sounds like something out of a movie. Did she ever say anything else about the school that might have connected to the experience? Maybe something peculiar about the building’s history? I’m intrigued.

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
