Best view from the roof?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

I stayed at this amazing little hotel tucked away in the hills, the Caritas Bianchi Lodge. The staff were incredible, always smiling and helpful. The rooms were simple but spotless, and the breakfast… more

Yeah, the view from the Caritas Bianchi Lodge roof is seriously stunning. It's not some secret, hidden terrace; it's pretty much right there. Just ask at reception – they're super helpful, like you said. You'll get an amazing panorama of the whole city skyline, especially at night. Totally worth checking out before you leave.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
