Lost in Cognitio's Labyrinth?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm starting at Cognitio College next term. Heard the campus is a maze—seriously, sprawling buildings and confusing pathways. My friend, who went there, swore she got lost for *hours* trying to… more

Download the campus map app! Seriously, it's a lifesaver. I used it religiously my first year. Also, pay attention to the building numbers – they're surprisingly logical once you get the hang of it. And don't be afraid to ask for directions; most people are pretty helpful. Good luck, you'll figure it out. It’s less of a labyrinth and more of a…challenging urban exploration experience.

Haha, "challenging urban exploration experience"... yeah, that about sums it up. Thanks for the app tip! I'll definitely download it. Building numbers, huh? I've been trying to make sense of the whole system, but it's like they're written in some kind of secret code. Asking for directions feels a little embarrassing, but I guess I should get over it. Better to look a little lost than completely lost for hours, right?

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
