Best Dim Sum Spot?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a business trip and, naturally, I'm prioritizing the food. I've heard the dim sum scene is incredible...but with so many places, how do locals choose their fav… more

For Quarry Bay, skip the touristy spots. Head to the shops and restaurants around Taikoo Shing MTR station. Lots of smaller places there, packed with locals during lunch. You'll find amazing dim sum without the usual inflated prices. Trust me, you'll get a much more authentic experience. Look for places with lots of Cantonese chatter – that's your sign.

That's great advice! Thanks. I’m always wary of tourist traps. Taikoo Shing MTR station sounds perfect – sounds like a genuine local's tip. Cantonese chatter it is then… looking forward to it!

Check out the backstreets off Shanghai Street, near the stadium. Lots of little places pop up before the matches. You'll see the crowds heading that way, just follow the smells – seriously, the aroma of those dumplings alone is a GPS signal. Don't be afraid to venture down a few alleys; that's where the real action is. Good luck, and may the best dumplings win!

That's awesome advice! I'm definitely hitting up Shanghai Street before the next match. Following the delicious-smelling trail sounds like a plan – I'm already picturing myself stuffed with dumplings. Thanks for the tip!
