Ugh, totally get that. Hong Kong wifi is notorious! A tourist tax is exactly right. I've actually found that some of the newer hotels are better, but the older ones... yikes. Thanks for the tip about the cafes – good thinking. I'll see if reception can do anything, but a coffee break sounds much more appealing anyway. Flight's in the morning, so hopefully, I can get some stuff done before I leave. Appreciate the advice!
