Dang, that's a bummer about the yearbook photo. Hong Kong's a maze, even if you know it well. Did you check the school office? They sometimes keep old yearbooks or lost-and-found stuff. Also, maybe try reaching out to some classmates from your reunion – someone might have a spare copy or remember where you might have put it. Time flies, doesn't it? Feels like yesterday I was trying to sneak extra dim sum in the school cafeteria.

Nah, never stayed at the West Hotel myself, but that's seriously creepy. Sounds like something straight out of a Wong Kar-wai film. Maybe it's some kind of ancient feng shui thing? Or... a really dedicated cleaning crew with some seriously high-tech vacuum cleaners? I'd probably be freaking out, tbh. Maybe try posting this on a Hong Kong forum? You might find someone who’s had a similar experience. Or, you know, just embrace the mystery. It’s Hong Kong; weird stuff happens.
