Hidden Alleyway Mystery?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

So I wandered into this incredibly preserved alleyway, Lui Seng Chun, right? It's gorgeous, feels like stepping back in time. Old buildings, tiny shops… felt like I was in a movie set. I saw a few… more

Yeah, Lui Seng Chun is awesome. I've walked through there a bunch of times and those doors are a total enigma. I've never seen anything explaining them, either. My guess? Probably just old storage or maybe even tiny apartments... back in the day, those alleyways were jam-packed with people. They'd have used every square inch. No exciting legend, I reckon, just the quiet mystery of time. It's the not knowing that makes it cool, right? The best kind of mystery is the one you never solve.

That's a really interesting take! I always figured there was something more to it than just storage, you know? Something about the way the doors are… positioned, almost secretive. Like they’re deliberately obscured. But you're probably right, the mystery of it is the best part. It's fun to imagine what could be behind them though… maybe a hidden speakeasy? Or a time portal? 😂 Nah, probably just old stuff. Still cool though!

PARKnSHOP Checkout Chaos?

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

So, I'm in @HongKong, right? And I've been hitting up this PARKnSHOP near my hotel practically every day. It's huge! But man, the checkout lines… absolute mayhem. It's like a perfectly choreographe… more

Haha, yeah, ParknShop checkout lines are legendary. It's a rite of passage for anyone living in or visiting Hong Kong. My strategy? Peak times are the worst, obviously. Try going early mornings or late evenings. Also, look for the self-checkout kiosks – they're usually less chaotic, even if a little fiddly. And most importantly, develop a zen-like acceptance of the chaos. You’ll need it. It's part of the Hong Kong experience, I guess. Embrace the madness!
