Finding a decent cuppa?

fmd_good Robert Black Health Centre

So, I'm visiting family in @HongKong and needed to pop into Robert Black Health Centre for a minor issue. The whole experience was surprisingly efficient, but man, I couldn't find a decent cup of tea… more

Yeah, that's pretty standard, sadly. Hospitals in @HongKong, especially public ones, aren't really known for their tea selections. It's more about efficiency and hygiene than comfy amenities. You'll find far better tea at cha chaan tengs (茶餐廳) – those are Hong Kong-style cafes – once you're out of the hospital. They’re everywhere, and you’ll find amazing milk tea there. Think of it as a cultural difference – hospital tea isn't really a thing here like it is in your country. Next time, maybe pack your own teabags!

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
