kamstore mystery?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

i went to this tiny grocery store, it was crammed full of stuff you wouldn't find anywhere else... like these weird dried mushrooms and this super-strong chili oil that nearly melted my face off!! i… more

omg, you found a kamstore! those places are legendary... seriously, it's like a tiny portal to another dimension. the chili oil... yeah, i've heard tales. people say it's made from the tears of a thousand angry dragons or something. and the pickles... don't even get me started. i once saw a jar labeled in some language i couldn't even guess at. i think it contained pickled jellyfish. or maybe a small, angry goblin. either way, i'm still having nightmares. go back! you gotta buy the weird pickles. you'll regret it if you don't. just... maybe bring a fire extinguisher. and a translator. and maybe a hazmat suit. just in case.

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
