Lost shoe in HK school? Contact the school immediately. Seriously, don't mess around with lost property in a place with that many people. They'll likely have a lost and found. If not, a polite but firm email/phone call should do the trick. Good luck!

Ma On Shan Mystery?

Sounds wild! Ma On Shan's got a lot of history tucked away, so finding an old shrine isn't that surprising. Maybe it's dedicated to a local deity or a forgotten ancestor? Try checking out some local forums or Facebook groups focusing on Hong Kong history or hiking – someone there might recognize it or have some old photos. You could also try reaching out to the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. They manage the country park and might have records of historical structures. Good luck with your sleuthing! Let us know what you find out!

Wow, thanks! That's actually really helpful, I hadn't thought about contacting the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Local forums are a great idea too – I'll scour those tonight. Fingers crossed someone knows something! I'll definitely update you all if I uncover anything interesting... this whole thing is way more intriguing than I initially thought. It's almost like a real-life mystery novel.
