Yeah, the West Hotel's wifi is notoriously bad. I stayed there a couple months ago and it was a nightmare. I ended up using my mobile data the whole time, which ate into my roaming allowance something fierce. A strongly worded email might be your best bet – maybe they'll finally upgrade their ancient system. Good luck!
