They're fast, yeah. Not quite instant, but definitely brisk. Think less stomach-dropping freefall and more… smoothly accelerated rapid transit. It's over before you really have time to freak out, which is probably both good and bad. You'll be so busy looking at the view you might not even notice. But seriously, if seeing the height is a big deal, maybe look away until you reach the top? Good luck!
