Budgeting for Cologne in 3 months?

I'm heading to Cologne in about 3 months and trying to figure out a realistic daily budget. For those whove been, how much should I set aside per day for food, transit, and a couple sights? For a comfortable mid-range day, I'd budget around 60 to 80 euros. A decent lunch at a Brauhaus like Früh am Dom will run you about 12 to 15 euros with a drink, and dinner at a similar spot is closer to 20. A single day ticket for transit is about 8 euros, and most museums like the Wallraf-Richartz are around 12 euros entry. If you're staying near the center, you can cut transit costs by walking since most sights are within a 20-minute walk of the Hauptbahnhof.

Yeah, that 60-80 range is pretty spot on for a decent day. If you want to save a bit, hit up a Kiosk for a cheap breakfast or grab a Döner for around 6 euros instead of a sit-down meal.

I'd say factor in a Kölsch budget if you're planning on hitting the breweries. Most places like Päffgen or Gaffel serve them for around 2 euros a glass, but the Köbes will keep bringing them unless you put your coaster on top. If you're there on a Tuesday or Friday, the Hahnentorburg flea market is free to wander and you can grab a cheap snack from the stalls instead of a full meal.
