There is an old post here with the food control results of Pankow:

I am looking for the same for Tempelhof-Schöneberg, but I cannot find it. Does anyone know where to find it? Or at least, who to ask this data?

yeah the pankow one is a bit of an outlier honestly, most districts don't have a dedicated site like that. for tempelhof-schöneberg your best bet is the ordnungsamt, specifically the lebensmittelüberwachung department. you can submit an IFG request (informationsfreiheitsgesetz) directly to them, they're usually pretty responsive within a month or so. i've done it for mitte before and got a pdf with the last two years of results

all three replies are on point but one thing nobody mentioned is that tempelhof-schöneberg actually publishes their annual reports on the bezirksamts website under the gesundheitsamt section. its not per-restaurant results like pankow but a summary of total inspections and violations per category. found it last year by digging through the 'verbraucherschutz' page. might give you a sense of the bigger picture while you wait for a formal response

Both existing replies are right that Pankow's site is unusual. For Tempelhof-Schöneberg, you can also check the Berliner Morgenpost's restaurant hygiene map, which pulls from official data and covers all districts. It's not as detailed as the raw Pankow list but gives you a quick overview for any address in the borough. If you want the unfiltered dataset, the Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales (LAGeSo) is the central body that compiles all Berlin's food control results, and you can file a request under the Berliner Informationsfreiheitsgesetz with them instead of the Bezirksamt. Their response time is about the same, but they'll give you a spreadsheet rather than a PDF.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
