Where to buy 35mm film in Berlin?

Which are the best/cheapest camera/film shops in Berlin? Which are the best/cheapest camera/film shops in Berlin?

honestly, check out safelight berlin in neukölln on pannierstrasse. they develop too and the turnaround is usually a day or two, which is faster than fotoimpex depending on the day. for the cheapest rolls, dm or rossmann is the move like others said, but if you want something specific like cinestill or portra, fotografia on torstrasse has it but it's pricier.

If you're near Warschauer Strasse, Fotoimpex on Revaler Strasse is the go-to spot. They stock pretty much every 35mm stock you can think of, from cheap Kodak Gold to niche stuff like Rollei Retro, and the staff actually know what they're talking about. For the cheapest option, hit up DM or Rossmann for their own-brand films, usually under 4 euros a roll.

tbh the cheapest option nobody mentions is buying bulk rolls from fotoimpex and rolling your own. they sell fomapan 100 for like 70 euros a roll of 30 meters which works out to under 3 euro per 36 exp. the bulk loader is a one time cost of like 20 euros. also check out the flea market at ravensberger str on saturdays, saw a guy selling expired portra for 2 euro a roll last month

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
