Did someone else heard the explosion in berlin?
Yeah, I heard it too around 2am near Friedrichshain. Sounded more like a transformer blowing than fireworks, happens a few times a year in older buildings around here.
I'm in Prenzlauer Berg and didn't hear anything, but my friend in Lichtenberg said it woke her up. Could be construction work on the U-Bahn extension near Alexanderplatz, they've been doing blasting at night lately.
honestly i was in marzahn and it woke me up, thought a car crashed into something but didnt see anything on the news. prob just the u5 construction like others said, they've been doing night work near the hauptbahnhof for months
