i'd actually look into places near the tegel area or parts of spandau that are more residential, away from big squares. some hotels near the alt-berlin zones like the old town of spandau have stricter rules and quieter courtyards. also check if the hotel has a basement or interior room you can request, the thick walls really muffle the noise compared to a normal apartment
Berlin has a few spots that are genuinely quiet on Silvester because of strict rules. The Dahlem area, around the museums and the Free University campus, is usually dead silent after midnight. For an Airbnb, look for something in a Kleingartenkolonie or a forest-edge neighborhood like Grunewald or Tegel. Those areas are mostly residential with no parks for people to gather, and the density is low enough that random 5am explosions aren't a thing.

It's a good way to see a bunch of styles in one afternoon and talk to artists face to face without committing to a shop. I found my guy there three years ago, he works out of a tiny studio near Boxhagener Platz and does amazing neo-traditional, but he rarely posts on Instagram so you'd never discover him otherwise. Bring cash if you go, a lot of the booths only take that on the day.
