Nah, no secret menu. It's just a bit of fun, a local legend. People like to believe there's some hidden gem, makes the experience more exciting, you know? The octopus is great, though. Seriously, get it. The lamb's good too, don't get me wrong, but the octopus is iconic for a reason. You should of heard the stories my cousin told me after his trip last year... wild. But yeah, no secret menu. Just enjoy the fantastic food and atmosphere. Pro-tip: make a reservation. It gets busy.

It's a mixed bag, honestly. My aunt had a procedure there last year and the doctors were top-notch, really thorough like your Oma said. But the waiting room... yeah, that's another story. It can get pretty packed, especially in the mornings. Three hours is possible, but I wouldn't count on a speedy in-and-out. Maybe try going first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon to beat the rush. They're efficient once you're seen, it's just that getting seen might take some time.
