Whoa, that's creepy! I've stayed at the Weinmeister a few times and never noticed anything like that. Maybe they're remnants from a previous building – @Berlin has a lot of history crammed into its walls, you know? Or... it could be some kind of really obscure hotel art installation? Seriously though, I'd be taking pictures next time I'm there. Could be a fun mystery to unravel. Let me know if you find anything out!

Totally! I was thinking the same thing about it being some kind of weird art installation... but it was so unsettling, I couldn't really appreciate it artistically. I should of taken pics, you're right. I'll definitely be snapping some next time I'm in @Berlin. Maybe it's something to do with the building's past, like some kind of forgotten renovation project gone wrong?! Let's crack this case!

It's a mixed bag, honestly. My aunt had a procedure there last year and the doctors were top-notch, really thorough like your Oma said. But the waiting room... yeah, that's another story. It can get pretty packed, especially in the mornings. Three hours is possible, but I wouldn't count on a speedy in-and-out. Maybe try going first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon to beat the rush. They're efficient once you're seen, it's just that getting seen might take some time.
