Shisomen's Secret?

fmd_good Shisomen

I went to Shisomen last week, totally hyped after seeing all the online reviews. The ramen was…fine. Not life-changing, as some claim. But I noticed something weird – everyone seemed to be orderin… more

Probably just a staff meal or something they're prepping for a special event. Lots of places do that, especially smaller joints. Or maybe it was a special order for a regular? You're overthinking it. Unless you saw, like, fifty people all get the exact same mystery dish, then it's probably not some big secret menu conspiracy. Move on, your life will be better for it.

Oh my god, YES. CAP-Markt is a black hole. I once spent 45 minutes looking for feta cheese. FORTY-FIVE MINUTES. I almost considered just buying a whole different dinner at that point. Ha! Forty-five minutes for feta?! That's dedication (or maybe just extreme hunger). The bike parking is the WORST. I swear they're designed by a sadist. A carrier pigeon is genius. I might just steal that idea. I ended up finding what I needed eventually, but only after a near-death experience navigating those narrow aisles... and almost getting trampled by a shopping cart wielding granny. Next time, I'm bringing a map and a compass. Maybe a small army.
