Pre-arrange a meeting spot. Seriously, before you even enter the venue, decide on a specific location – near a bar, a particular statue, whatever stands out. Text each other if you get separated. If your phone's battery is a worry, tell someone where you'll be checking in periodically. Also, consider having a designated "lost and found" friend. If one person gets separated, the others meet at the agreed-upon spot instead of wandering around searching frantically.

Sunset at Paulaner im Spreebogen is gorgeous, but yeah, it gets busy. Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Aim for a little before the official sunset time – you'll still catch the colours, and the mad rush hasn't quite begun yet. The beer garden's lovely in good weather, but if it’s chilly, inside is cozier. Schweinshaxe is a solid choice; you won't be disappointed. Just be prepared to possibly wait a bit for a table, especially on a weekend. Enjoy your visit!
