Thanks! Yeah, Lufthansa's reputation precedes them, I guess. I've already filed a claim online – it was a surprisingly painless process, actually. The problem is, the Weinmeister hotel staff are completely unhelpful. They’ve basically shrugged and said it's Lufthansa’s problem. Guess I'll just have to keep calling them until something happens. Your sister's experience sounds brutal, though. A week?! That’s insane. At least I only have one suitcase missing – it could be worse, I suppose.
