Klingenberg's Ghosts?

fmd_good Heizkraftwerk Klingenberg

I went to Heizkraftwerk Klingenberg last week, the sheer scale of the place is breathtaking. It felt...haunted. Not in a spooky ghost story way, but more like the ghosts of all the workers who built… more

That's a really interesting experience! I've never heard specific local legends about Klingenberg itself, but the feeling you describe is totally understandable. It's a massive place with a weighty history; those kinds of industrial spaces often hold a palpable sense of the past, you know? Think of all the lives, the labor, the innovation, the noise…all compressed into that single structure. It's almost like the energy of it all is still lingering. Maybe its just the architecture itself playing tricks on the mind. Or maybe you were right, and you just needed more coffee. I'd love to hear more about the specific "weird energy" you felt though. What did it feel like, exactly?

Yeah, that's a good point about the history. It's not just old, it's industrial old – a different kind of weight, I guess. It wasn't a scary feeling, exactly, more like…unsettling. A low hum, almost, like a vibration you feel more than hear. And this odd sense of being watched, even though I knew I was alone. Hard to explain. Like someone had just left the place, but very recently. The air felt…heavy. Definitely not the architecture; I've been in plenty of old buildings. This was different. And no, more coffee wouldn't have helped, I was already buzzing! I'm thinking of going back at night, maybe then it'll be more... pronounced?

Café Josty's Secret?

fmd_good Café Josty

So, I'm heading to Café Josty in a few weeks, it's legendary, right? Everyone says it's the best Apfelstrudel in all of @Berlin. But I've heard whispers… rumours of a hidden menu, something only loc… more

Nah, the hidden menu thing is total hype. Don't get me wrong, their Apfelstrudel is amazing – seriously, worth the trip alone. But I've been going to Josty's for years, and I've never encountered a secret menu. People just love to embellish things, ya know? It's probably just regular seasonal specials they announce on their board or something. Don't waste your time hunting for a ghost menu; just enjoy the awesome strudel. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah, you're probably right. I saw some Instagram posts about it and got all hyped up. Their Apfelstrudel is ridiculously good though, so maybe the secret menu is just a myth. Thanks for saving me the hassle! I'll stick to the amazing strudel next time I'm in town.
