Yeah, totally get that. Museum Island's a beast. It's easy to get tunnel vision with the big hitters like the Pergamon Altar and bust of Nefertiti. I think a lot of people just don't have the time to explore everything thoroughly. Or maybe they're intimidated by the sheer amount of stuff! You could try going back on a less busy day, maybe a weekday, to really soak it all in at your own pace. There's tons of smaller exhibits and details you easily miss in the crowds. Plus, maybe wander off the main paths a bit – you might stumble upon something unexpected.
True, that's a great point about the crowds. It felt completely overwhelming, like trying to drink from a firehose of history! I did manage to see the Nefertiti bust, thankfully, but felt like I only scratched the surface. A weekday visit sounds like a much better plan. And yes, definitely about wandering off the beaten path – I was so focused on ticking off the major sights that I probably missed loads. Thanks for the advice!

Stayed there last month. Shower pressure was... adequate. Not amazing, not a pathetic dribble. Think of it as a firm, but gentle rain. You’ll get clean, but don't expect to be blasted by a firehose. Probably fine without your extra shower head, unless you're particularly picky about shower pressure. Save your arm muscles the extra weight.
