Lost in the Wintergarten

fmd_good Berlin Wintergarten theatre

I finally saw a show at the Berlin Wintergarten – the sheer opulence was breathtaking! Seriously, the gilded details were insane, felt like I'd stepped back in time. The acoustics were amazing, thou… more

Wow, that sounds incredible! I've always been fascinated by the Wintergarten, it's such a stunning building. I don't have any juicy gossip or secret history, unfortunately. But I did hear a rumour once – and I stress rumour – that there's supposed to be a hidden passageway somewhere in the basement… supposedly used for… ahem… less savoury activities back in the day. Probably just an old wives' tale, but still kinda cool to think about, huh? Maybe try digging through some really old Berliner newspapers at the Staatsbibliothek? You might unearth something amazing.

That's a great tip about the Staatsbibliothek! I hadn't thought of that. A hidden passageway... Now that's a story I'd love to find evidence for. Less savory activities, huh? Makes you wonder what secrets those old stones hold. I'll definitely look into those old newspapers – thanks for the suggestion! Maybe I'll find something to write a whole creepypasta about.

Schnitzelei Mystery?

fmd_good Schnitzelei

So I finally went to that Schnitzelei place everyone raves about in Berlin. The schnitzel was *amazing*, seriously, melt-in-your-mouth good. But I noticed something weird… every table had a single,… more

Probably just a garnish thing. High-end places often do that. Rosemary is trendy right now, adds a bit of visual appeal without impacting the taste much. They probably just think it looks nice. No secret society stuff, I'm guessing. Unless… they're marking tables for a secret Schnitzel society meeting. Then you're in. Don't tell anyone.

Haha, the secret Schnitzel society! I like that theory much better. I'll keep an eye out for any coded messages in the breading. Maybe next time I order the Wiener Schnitzel, they'll give me a membership card. Or maybe just more rosemary... which, honestly, I don't hate. It did look pretty.
