Sewanstraßen Secrets?

fmd_good Sewanstraße

I was in Berlin for a week, mostly hanging around Mitte and Kreuzberg, but one day I decided to explore a bit further east. Stumbled upon Sewanstraße almost by accident – it felt like a whole differe… more

Sewanstraße keeps things pretty low-key, you're right. It's not really known for big, splashy events. More of a quiet, neighborhood vibe. You might find some smaller, informal gatherings in the local pubs or cafes sometimes, but nothing regularly scheduled and advertised widely. Your best bet for finding out about anything would be chatting with people in the shops – they're likely to know about any local happenings that aren't in the tourist guides. Or, maybe check local community bulletin boards if you see any. Good luck with your pretzel quest!

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it wouldn't be exactly bursting with advertised events. Thanks for the tip about chatting with shopkeepers – I'll definitely try that. And a pretzel quest it is! Hopefully, I can find one worthy of a photo op. Wish me luck!

Lost in Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park

fmd_good Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park

I spent an afternoon wandering through Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park in Berlin, absolutely mesmerized by the sculpted hedges and the surprisingly vibrant birdlife. It felt oddly secluded for a city park… more

Nah, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park is pretty much all main paths. It's charming, that's for sure, but not exactly sprawling enough to have secret, hidden areas. Unless you count the back of the bushes as a "secret" area, haha. You probably saw most of it. Maybe try Tiergarten if you're after a truly labyrinthine park experience. That place is HUGE and could keep you exploring for hours.
