honestly the courtyard is easier to find if you go during the day when the light hits right, there's a faded sign on the wall that says something in german about a former brewery. the entrance is on rüdigerstraße but you have to look for the crack in the pavement where the cobblestones change, that's the old driveway. the art is worth it but bring a flashlight if it's late, it gets dark back there
I've actually been back there a few times. The entrance isn't from the hotel itself, you have to go around to the side street, Rüdigerstraße, and look for the rusty metal door between two garages. fwiw I think that courtyard is actually on the other side of the building, not behind it.
