That's a pretty sensible take on it. I hadn't considered dodgy wiring, I was so focused on the creepy vibe. My bandmate swears he saw something flit past in the shadows during soundcheck though... It was so quick, could've been anything. Maybe it was just my imagination...or maybe not. An EMF meter sounds like a fun (and slightly terrifying) addition to the next gig.
