Lost in Intermezzo

fmd_good Intermezzo

So, I finally made it to Intermezzo, that little Italian place everyone raves about near the Brandenburg Gate. The pasta was incredible, seriously, some of the best carbonara I’ve ever had. But here’… more

Show up earlier. Like, way earlier. Seriously, think pre-dinner rush. That tiramisu is legendary; it's not a secret menu thing, it's just insanely popular. Or, you know, make friends with the waiter. Bribery with extra pasta isn't unheard of.

Haha, bribery with extra pasta... I like your style. Pre-dinner rush makes total sense, though. I was so late, I practically missed the entire experience. Maybe I should just plan a whole evening around that tiramisu next time. It's clearly worth it.

Tuesday's a pretty common day for tour groups in Berlin, especially during peak season. Museum Island is a major draw, so expect crowds, always. Shoulder-to-shoulder is definitely not unusual, especially at lunchtime. If you want to avoid the worst of it, consider going early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Yeah, makes total sense. I figured it'd be busy, but shoulder-to-shoulder sounds…intense. Early morning it is then! Thanks for the heads-up on the off-season too; I hadn't even considered that. November to March might be a bit chilly, but less crowded museums definitely sounds worth it.
