Yeah, Lidl's "mystery meat" is a whole thing. I've had similar experiences, usually with their cheaper processed stuff. It's never quite what it claims to be, is it? I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of wizardry involving soy and vaguely chicken-shaped things was involved. Honestly, I've just resigned myself to expecting a certain level of... creative interpretation of the ingredients list at that price point. Probably best to stick to the bakery section next time.
